My Kat fell twice

Post by Bikeazoid » Sun Oct 11, 2020 9:29 pm

When I got my Katana, it had this horrid engine guard, only on the left, not the right.

Looks like he crashed a few times, but only on the left, he must have crashed on the left, then got the cover since the left case is mangled and the guard hit the pavement at one point.

I don't remember if it looks bent, I tossed it about a month ago.

Side stand failure, or failure to operate sidestand !
On a UK bike over exuberance into roundabouts causes the same markings . Once you've damaged the casing, a set of engine bars seem a good idea. :D

I fixed a pair of these on a Kat I had some 20 years ago. 'Cause wifey used that bike and went down at the Stelvio when a cow standing in the middle of the road wouldn't let her pass by. Just to make sure.
