Hi folks
This year the German TÜV has to be done and new tyres must be installed.
Last year was a test for tyres into the magazin Motorrad Classic, focused on 100/90-18 and 120/90-18.
They were tested on a XJ900F. Nevertheless, the pairings are also availiabe for our bike.

Finisher was the Conti Classic Attack which is a radial tyre.
Best notes for everyday use/country roads and also rain conditions.

Actuall price front 103,20€, rear 111,00€.

Other participants : 2. Michelin Pilot Activ; 3. Dunlop Arrowmax Streetsmart; 4. Bridgestone Battlax BT45 + Continental ContiGo!; 6. Metzeler Sportec Klassik; 7. Pirelli Sport Demon; Avon Roadrider.
I have ordered the Conti CA and will give a short note, if the weather goes better....

Regards
Heiko

The 1100 Katana I just got from Switzerland has the Conti tyres on it, so I'll see what they are like once it's on the road later in the year. Generally I would say we go for the BT45 over here - my TZR250, and 400 and other 1100 Katana all have BT45's on.

My DL650 VStrom has Conti Road Attack on it. Happy with them, but the wet weather wasn't as good as the previous BT020 (a long while back!) I had on it. I moved from the BT020 as they didn't make the right front size for the VStrom when they went to BT021, and I have had the Conti's on it ever since.

Be interested to see what your thoughts are once you have tried them as well.

Hi Rob,
THX for this information, special for the wet one.
For my other bikes my favorite is the Metzeler Roadtec Z8 Interact.
Well, I will write a feedback report after mounting.
Here are the Motorrad Classic test results wetness:

Max was 20 points in all categories; manageability: 19, steering precision : 18, adhesion turn(s) : 18, adhesion acceleration : 19, limit of performance : 17, turnspeed reference (Km/h) :77,9.
