Could someone tell me the differences for UK bikes and how to identify which model bike might be?

Re: 1000SZ and 1000SD
The most obvious thing is the wheels SD ones are kinda 3 spoke ( 6 really but they like a mercedes star )...SZ are the usual snowflake pattern , but most SD now carry snowflake .
What can't be changed I suppose would be the footpegs ..SD have ones that flip up and the rubbers can be replaced. THe rear ones are held in position by a spring and ball bearing..SZ are just held down against the bracket.
The front engine mounts are different .

Re: 1000SZ and 1000SD
I didn't think there were any GSX1000SD's - at least I have never seen one.
So I did Google GSX1000SD ( and GS1000SD Katana ) and found one YouTube video showing a restored one, but they look like they are in either in South Africa, Australia or New Zealand. As the bike has a wire wheels I think it's actually a GSX1000SXD ( another link gives that designation as well ) so probably in Oz or NZ. Also found one that was for sale but sold in Oz.
