Hi.I am new of the Forum and I am wondering which are the best standard tyres available nowadays on the 1100 Katana.I run Avon AM 26 Roadriders front and rear, but maybe someone of you already found a better solution.

Bridgestone BT45 are the better option. Avon roadrunners are OK unless it is damp !

I'm running Continental ContiGo's on mine. But then again it is only a "Boat Anchor" 750

They seem to be fine wet or dry, as I have tried them out in both conditions. You'd have to check the speed ratings though for the 11.

Chief will tell you that you don't the mileage out of them, but nowadays I'd go for grip over duration. Oo-Er Missus!

Oh and why not while you're here, pop along to "Say Hello", and introduce yourself, post up a photo of the Kat and meet the rest of the folk.

We're mostly friendly here :D :D
