It could be that it was really the starter motor in conjunction with the battery. I still have the Motobatt so I could test that with just the new starter to see if it still better.

Yes it was the same size as the old one so no issue there, and the cost from Tayna was £70 delivered next day. If you've still got the company up and running up could get it ex-vat.

I ended my VAT registration a few years ago. It was just so much hassle. My website wasn't MTD compliant and it would have just been a nightmare, so I closed the limited company had a small mental breakdown and started again as a sole trader, trading below the VAT threshold.
