POP up Ignition switch

I had a wanted ad for a new ignition switch, mine is the 5 wire long connecting wire type. it had screwdriver damage...but the wiring was fine.
After a few months with no luck (for the direct swap or an ES one) I started looking for a barrel that looked similar....as luck would have it the 1980's GSXR750 look the same but still had 4 wires rather than 5). I then came across a brand new barrel for GSXr GAG bike (31700 12B02)....£23 worth a punt.
and it works all I did was pop the cap covering the switch at the bottom of the barrel, undo 1 screw, swap over the switches and hey presto brand new working ignition switch.
so chuffed I had to share....
