Finally got a shock

So after toying with the ideas of buying new, putting an old un on, refurbing an old un or finding one of another bike.

I found a thread on here with someone using one of a Ducati Monster 600. So after a bit of hunting about on the evil bay. I found one.

Which means I can actually get the thing up on its wheels. woop woop!!!!!!!!!!

well when i say I have one. I mean it will be here next week. will keep you posted. But from what the guy has told me the measurements are. I will need to shim it out a little but other than that right in

Sorry for late reply. Not been on in ages. The shock is brilliant. Sits at a lovely height. And rides really well. If anything a little tough. But just a case of unwinding the spring a little. A very happy bike. If anything gonna have to put a new front end in now!

I believe it was a 2004 model. That was exactly my predicament. Think I picked this up for £60 in very good condition. I had to grind the top ally knuckle as it was fouling on the shock linkage and then it needed 4 mm shims either side on the bottom knuckle. Other than that went in no probs

Looking at getting a shock for my pop up. Dont spose you know if any other years fit?
