Katana Owners Club U.K.

The XN85 isn't a Katana, never was, it's been allowed here as it's of a similar design in appearance (sort of) to the Katana.

The GSX750SE/F/3/4 ARE Katana's no question.

To group the popup in this section is wrong, it shouldn't be in a section about
"later popup styled bikes"
It IS a popup, or actually as they were know back in the eighties "Flipup" the popup moniker came later.

Seeing as this is Katana owners club I would like the popup to have it's own section, any similies to the katana don't need to be included in another section, infact they don't need one at all, they are not Katana's.


Sorry if this pee's off any XN owners, but It's not fair that a Katana gets lumped in with bikes that aren't. Therefore potentially devaluing the brand in authenticity.

yeah, why not have a "katana styled/looky likey" section. I can put up some more pics of my "cough" Impulse. I know people would like that

it could be said that as the original target design for the katana featured a flip up headlight then the pop up is the most authentic of all the katanas.

we could have a section 'bikes that have a fuel tank like Krytons head' (Red Dwalf)

As you can see, the XN-85 has it's own section now.

So wheres the Katana scooter section then???

Give it time, we've only just got the first Katana 125 on here 50's with no gears will take a while longer


Mind you they do have more of a styling resemblance than a teapot....well a slopey front anyway
