Pop up headlight availability
Pop up headlight availability
Hi does anyone know of a replacement headlight. I've seen a couple of second hand ones but have had no luck with searching using any of the code number on the lenses. Or is it now just a case of get second hand one and hope there are available if and when you need?

Re: Pop up headlight availability
Unfortunately the actual pop up headlamp is not part of the "parts bin" system used on most Suzuki vehicles . So it is a case of finding a decent second hand item or finding the ones that people may have bought NOS and hoarded
Is yours damaged? There will be 2nd hand ones in the club should you be in need of to get yours back on the road.

Well well well, tonight watching wheeler dealers , they worked on a 1982 Toyota supra , but only 1 headlamp popped up, the mechanic lifted the bonnet to point out the manual winding device ....low and behold exactly the same as the pop up katana
Probably just a rare now though

Re: Pop up headlight availability
I bet Toyota used that in all kinds of other vehicles at the time so the parts counter might have them.fossie wrote: ↑Fri Feb 28, 2020 12:09 amWell well well, tonight watching wheeler dealers , they worked on a 1982 Toyota supra , but only 1 headlamp popped up, the mechanic lifted the bonnet to point out the manual winding device ....low and behold exactly the same as the pop up katana
