Re: Pop Carb removal
So I took the carbs back off again... quick clean... back in all 4 cylinders firing again
But I've still got to solve the original issue.... erratic idle.... something tells be the carbs are coming off again

Re: Pop Carb removal
How erratic ? If you turn the tick over up to say 1500 rpm. Does it smooth out? If so it is balancing.
Also as said check and clean coil connections. May seem obvious. But renew the plugs or clean them and refit in different cyls to see if the issue moves.

Re: Pop Carb removal
if I have it around 1000-1500 it will stall.. so stable around 2000+ I'll take a look at the coils, the plugs are less than a year old with only about 500miles on them. but I might replace anyway.... if not I'll look at getting the carbs balance. Thanks

We assume that because the machine is now on eBay etc that ...the balancing sorted the issue
