I can normally detect sarcasm, but as it was responding to my sarcasm, it's caught me out. Or I am inhaling too many cleaning chemicals.

I think that being sarcastic in reply to a sarcastic comment is a paradox, ok, ive got an excuse, i'm off work on holiday for a week and its raining in the middle of May!
