i have a gs650 engine with poor compression (a fraction above the manuals minimum recommendation).
So for something to do while the pubs are shut I am tempted to have a go at it. Anybody got any ideas on
obtaining a decent set, or is it Robinsons.

Adjust the compression gauge so it is slightly loaded then the readings will be fine ...job done!
Other than that I got a set from Canada which you fitted to the other 650 ...so I will see if I can find out info ...but in PaulD projects thread for his 1100 he sourced some rings reasonable price ..they will do 650 aswell.

Yes I used Cruzin Image rings in my 1100. A quick hone and full compression on all four cylinders. Only done about 3k miles but still good. A full set for less than the price of one cylinder with genuine Suzuki parts.
