Another whats the difference?

Hi all, 550 and 650 forks, both the same? I need some replacements for my 650 (with minimal work), and there are plenty of 550, limited 650.

550 forks are 35mm diameter if that helps any...

If your 650 has an oil cooler then 550 won't fit.
No oil cooler ....jap model 550 will fit.
However if you get 550 forks and the top and bottom yokes they will fit on to a normal 650.

Thank you. That leads me to another question. I have a list of bikes fitted with 37mm forks, but not fork lengths, etc. Has anyone any experience of fitting forks from other models (or makes) to the 650.
