I can arrange a band if that's helpful?
T'will be ! Was going to visit a location this evening but it was very very busy , so no time to speak details ..next week if it isn't a sunny evening I will get more opportunity .

As long as we give them notice they can fit us in. As soon as we get a date I'll sort it. They're called Loose Covers, have a look in face ache ;)
There rubbish them Jap bikes lad they won't last five minutes! you want to get yourself a nice Royal Enfield!

The band have said they are up for the gig. As soon as we get a firm date and venue I'll give you their contact details and you can sort things between yourselves

:D :D :D :D This evening I called in to a possible location to test the waters ...the answer was a YES ...It seems that the understanding is June is Go for full opening etc.
I have yet to speak properly and set a date ..however yes for a band , camping on flat grassed area.
There are hotels in he area just a taxi ride away should it be needed.
I spoke about cask ale ..again it can be sorted..
I was probably over enthusiast with numbers but quote up to 30 :o .
So we are on ....Date TBC , dust of you kit

As a newbie, I am not sure of the protocol here. Do we have to promise to come first, then you tell us where it is? Like some sort of test?

Something like that, but you then have to undertake the initiation ceremony.
If I was you I would bring your own Vaseline

No we are not all big scary bikers :) Turn up on a Kat & all fine, anything else needs to be parked in the naughty corner.

Mankee Kat 1 I was told camping in rear of pub, didn't realise it was only me with a tent, should be better turn out now.

I prefer Astroglide, as it's less greasy.

I will post the actual location when I have finalised the details as I don't want to get things confused if I need to alter location ...things generally are still a bit sketchy ....
But this does look good to go ...what I will say is that is just off the M60 / A57 ...(cos that's were I live! ) ;)
Please do not post guesses as this will sully the surprise .

PLANS ...
Basically I looking at free to club members. We will probably do our club BBQ Saturday evening and do a sort of honesty box . After all we have club funds that are for this reason .
Any funds returned to honesty box can be split between us and the location ...the reason will come out when it is announced.
The club house has a staffed kitchen and bar aswell as coffee bar.. I'm looking into buying the cask ale so it's free to us solely because if it is not all finished the shelf life is limited and I don't God location to be out of pocket . Lager and bottles will be on sale as normal but at Northern prices not southern ones ;)
Camping, members free , invited £7 for rally and camping .( invites to be limited to people we know, as this is our rally)
Naturally Kat parking ,naughty corner parking , and tractor parking in surrounding field
There is a car park but I wouldn't normally advertise that fact .
As said there is a premier inn just a short taxi ride :?

So for those not ofay with our rallies ..simple turn up on a Kat ;) Friday .
Pitch tent , beer, chat, food in any order ....music even if just a jukebox ..
Saturday , our alfresco continental breakfast in our marquee or breakfast in site kitchen .
Ride out to a place / activity . Or silly games. Back to site ..judging ..our way! :(
BBQ, band , beer, ...cheesecake set 2am....

So the more the merrier literally , mates amongst mates
