Yay, that would be great!

Rough plan: I was looking at Harwich Ferry out Wednesday night and ride up to near Hamburg (maybe more scenic route if we can find the Hull lot as Fosse suggested that) for over night, then to rally on Friday. Leave Sunday not to late (by 10) and ride to Dutch border near Oldenzaal somewhere which is about 420 miles of probably motorway. Monday morning leave earlyish enough to do the 140 miles to the hook by 13:15 latest (check in). Arrive Harwich 19:45 for quick blat back home.

For us the ferry does save about 250 miles each way. Other option was using the Monday night Ferry instead does allow for dividing the trip more in half for both days back and more stop offs if you wanted some site seeing on way back.

No response bout chalets yet. I am aiming to stay in Bielefeld at David's place. We are thinking of staying in Hamburg also. So if you have a cheap hotel let me know. They might fit us in also. Same on way back..

That sounds like a plan to me! Bit of a haul on the way back, but I know already that I am offshore on the Tuesday. It looks like the ferry is a 5 hour crossing so at least there is a bit of respite for creaky joints, before another run up the A12/A140 of about 100 miles for me. Would be good to meet up with the Hull brigade and the Tunnel Rats at some point on the way up as well

Me and sparki have decided to do the Harwich route. Get the 23:00 ferry on Wednesday, to the hook of Holland. We are going to get the Tuesday ferry back. All the beer drinking at EK8, we thought that it might be sensible to take an extra day getting back lol.

That's a question for pop up to enquire about the t shirts. We can do the shirts if needed.
We land at 0900 at Europort.
