250/400 clocks top out at 180kmh, get a kmh to mph adaptor (blue one) converter that fixes into the Speedo cable input on the clocks, this converts them to 180mph clocks and the odometer and trip meter are correct. Unfortunately they also have 12000 rpm rev counters, but if you fit a bandit motor it...

Did you check if the auto advance retard was working ok, cos 4⁰ is about the full range of movement of the auto advance retard unit

I bumped into him not long before he passed away, lovely guy, he had recently moved up this way as I was in a bike shop in garstang when I met him. Just a really pleasant guy.
