Thanks again guys. The two o rings on the bolts were replaced as they were leaking too. I've since had the cover powder coated and wondered if has warped slightly. It will just get wiped clean for just now and investigate at a later date. Cheers.

I'm going to fit a set of gsxr 36mm carbs to my 1100 Kat. Can someone give me a rough starting point regarding main jet size and needle position please. Thanks.

Weeping rocker cover gasket.
I have a 1982 Katana 1100 and cant seem to stop an oil weep from the centre of the rocker cover. It's a skimmed head and was rebuilt with new gasket and a smear of Gasnasinch. I've nipped up all relative cover bolts but still cant cure the weep. Any tricks of the trade please guys. I had read the ea...

Ok, thanks for the info and the pictures. That gives me an alternative to trying to drill the new needle mounting holes bigger.

Fitting speedo needles to 1100.
Having just received my new needles all ready to get cut and painted. I prised off the first old needle and the pin that needle attaches to is too big for new needle. Anyone else have this problem and how did you resolve it please. Thanks

Kat 1100 sprocket spacer
Can someone tell me please behind the front sprocket on the 1100 Kat is a sleeve that partially fits into the sprocket seal. How long should this be and should there be any other washers or spacers fitted before the sprocket goes on. Many thanks.
