Re: Tyre Pressure?

Aye, Canadian air is heavier due to the particles of maple syrup that float around so no surprise there.

I like the sound of 32 & 36 - I'll give that a go,

Cheers Team Pop-up.

Re: Tyre Pressure?

Since my wheels are standard too I'll go with the Chairmans recommendation.

And H, you non-Katana owning philistine, the pop-up was called the flip-up in my day - I'm old-skool dontcha know...now is it an S3 or an SE? Or both?

Tyre Pressure?

What tyre pressures are folk running in their bikes? I've got Arrowmaxes fitted and wondered if there was an optimum pressure or just a bit of trial and error? Is Scottish air lighter than English air?

Re: Alternative Pop-up Calipers?

Well thanks for all that advice...anyway after a bit of jiggerypokery with tools and some swearing they appear to be working marginally better. Clearly the threat of replacement terrified them so much they decided to see sense and operate in a more sensible manner. Not amazing but definitely better.

Alternative Pop-up Calipers?

Any suggestions for front calipers that would be a straight swop as an alternative to the dire brakes I've currently got on my pop-up? They were apparently refurbed and the master cylinder is of unknown origin but slowing down is a long and terrifying procedure so rather than dick around with the cu...

Re: Screen

I've done some for Club members, and the Pop-up one, not not any recently due to work/life/time etc. plus I was ill over the winter and lost my mojo (which was careless of me...). Club logo subtly engraved lower centre and a slight kick up at the top. The one in the photo was for Malcs race bike so ...

Re: Head removal

Photos would be helpful - I know some folk don't like belly pans on pop-ups but I think it pulls the look together, plus it hides more of the golden frame.....;}

Re: Head removal

I'm liking the look of that belly pan on your pop-up. Is it a universal type of a GSX one? Once I get my Predator re-hung and sitting tighter to the motor I quite fancy a belly pan on mine.

Re: my Kat

White wheels are the new black, eh Pete? Original pipes too? Cool. I think the white makes the wheels look even skinnier than they are but that's just down to personal taste. You keeping it standard (ish)? I keep swithering between standard and modified, but makes no odds really as they look ace wha...
