Re: 650 header clamp broken
Thanks for advice. I also have motad type but would look odd. I also thought about top end of pipe. My idea was grinding the outer sleeve off and fitting new header clamp and fitting a new sleeve to replace.

Re: Exhausts
I have an Athena gasket on my 650. I would use Fossie's recommendation to launch it in the bin because you guessed it! the heads got to come off to replace the head gasket . I've got a genuine suzuki one to go on. It should mean the 650 won't look like a 2 stoke

Re: pilot jet not coming out
An update! I sent my carb body to Paul. He got it on Monday 26th, I think ,phoned me the same afternoon to tell me it was done and it was back by Wednesday. Absolutely stunning job! :D if I'd have carried on it would have definitely been a replacement carb. Thank you so much Paul. :D :D :D

Re: pilot jet not coming out
It's exactly the one under the rubber plug. Yes I have an ultrasound cleaner I ran it through a good few cycles hoping it would ease it out. Bank is already stripped

Re: pilot jet not coming out
It was working it's just as I have to take the head off, I thought I'd do the carbs with service kits from NRP. It's the only one that's like it

pilot jet not coming out
I have a dilemma! The pilot jet on my no2 carb is stuck fast and there isn't a lot of head left either. Do I leave it alone or enlist the help of a specialist. If I do the latter does anyone have any recommendations? Many thanks Scott
