Side stand options?
Hi All. The standard side stand on my Kat comes up a little short with 17 inch wheels, GSXR1100k forks and a raised rear, so leans over too far for my liking. I’ve had a look at possible alternatives, including Bandits, but none were suitable. Has anyone put a longer side stand on their Kat? Or do y...

Seems a far easier option to post up the photos and ask the reader to re-orientate their device!

It was braced by Mark who restored it prior to powder coating. I would inagine it adds a kilo or two maximum, but I appreciate his attention to detail. I would have done the same. Early 80s frames aren’t exactly renowned for their stiffness, so it certainly won’t do any harm.
