Re: Front Brake upgrade
After some online research it looks like the calipers are late 90s Bandit 1200 or GSXR1100, but the bolt hole spacing on the forks are 90mm. Mine are 70mm, so it looks like the upper fork mount has been cut and re-welded.

Re: Front Brake upgrade
This bike on ebay has upgraded brakes:
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/164822236976?ul_noapp=true
Does anyone recognise where the front calipers come from? I spoke to the seller and he said he didn't fit them, but they fit directly to the standard forks with just spacers added.

FED1F268-6693-404A-B169-3FE8FB594986.jpegYou can repair it yourself. You can buy the sight glass off evil bay. Bought several from China and managed to find one decent one out the lot. They come with an O ring that sits at the back of the glass (plastic). Bought one off a chap on evil bay too who a...

Weeping Clutch Level Window
I seem to have a small amount of fluid weeping from the fluid level window on the clutch master cylinder of my pop-up. Does anyone have any experience of servicing this part? Can it be fixed? Failing that, does anyone have one for sale? Part number 59800-08A10 I think. Last resort, the Hayabusa leve...

Re: Restored Katana Pop-Up Value
Simple answer: it’s worth what the buyer will pay and the seller agrees too. For me £3500 top end. I’m restoring mine and don’t expect any financial profit but lots of enjoyment. Good luck with the sale. I think he sold for the £4.5 to £5k mark in the end fairly quickly. Also another turned up abou...

Re: MR2 Headlight swap
Damn - in which case, does anyone with an SZ or SD want to buy the Crystal MR2 headlight, used in the upgrade thread? I have two that I don't need!

Side Stand Warning Light
I'm adding a side stand switch/warning light to my pop-up. I have two switches, both of which came from 750ES bikes that were being broken (I think!) but the switches are quite different and only the one on the right seems to work correctly. The one on the left fits the bracket perfectly, but is a '...

MR2 Headlight swap
I was hoping to do the MR2 headlight replacement, as outlined in this thread by Blix viewtopic.php?f=45&t=8149 but my current headlight is nothing like the one pictured in the thread. Does the swap only work on fixed-headlight Kats, and not on pop-ups? Cheers!
