Valve shims
Hi all
Can any one pleas help me . I need a valve shim for a gs550 katan . I believe they are generic across the whole GS range . I have searched eBay and other places but I can't find a 240 valve shim. Can any one help ?
I have plenty that I can swap with from 245 to 260 .
Many thanks
Bruce

Gsx750 engine into a 550 katana
Hi all I've been thinking for a while on how difficult it would be to get a gsx750 engine into a gs550 frame while still keeping the tank and side panel locations . Has anyone done this or even think of doing this Pro,s or cons I assume I will need to upgrade the brakes as well Just a thought at the...

Re: Gs550 katana engine paint/spray
Hi nige
I'm now ready for painting . I had the head and barrels soda blasted and they have come up a treat .
What primer did you use as the VHT needs cureing and I'm not to sure how to do this . Is it a case of putting it in the oven ?
