Re: Waking up the 400 after it's winter sleep (surprise!)
Couple of questions about lithium ion batteries, I've noticed on some you tube videos that there is a starting procedure, you have to wait for a few seconds (more than ten I think) before hitting the starter button and as the lithium ion battery is quite a bit smaller in size it will need some sort ...

Re: My modified home market GSX1100 Katana

Re: Speedo needed
Looking at your photo of the clocks maybe you could just graft (glue) a plastic coffee stirrer onto the speedo needle and then paint both needles with reflective orange paint, would save a lot of hassle. and when it's stationary the speedo needle will cover up the hole in the speedo face, sorted!

Re: Waking up the 400 after it's winter sleep (surprise!)
Had the same thing waking up my 250, took the battery out in October last year to trickle charge it  left it with a full tank of E5 and some fuel fit petrol additive, got the litetek viton carb kit fitted as well, last week I put the battery back in, pumped up the tyres, gave the carb float b...

Re: Speedo needed
A long shot but when looking for 250 kat spares I start with Two Wheel Spares (DK Motorcycles) then follow up with the Japanese company Webike, original clocks for any Katana are nearly impossible to find at the moment but you might be able to find a glass cutter to make a new screen and some people...

Re: Well I never knew that... Amazon Japan 250/400 carb parts
Just get the originals sorted - Pookie and I both don't really have any issues ( of course that is the Kiss of death saying that ). You're right Uncle Bob, my 250 Kat had been sitting under a cover in my carport for over five months, didn't even drain the carbs this year, just left it with a tank fu...

Nearly 70% of people consulted for the ULEZ expansion said that they didn't want it but the mayor of London said that even though he would abide by the views of the public he went back on his word (not for the first time) saying that the ''silent majority'' wanted the scheme, if they are silent how ...
