Bare with me here , it was Katana in UK it's actually a GSX 250 EZ .. not worth £250 in this state granted . But with the CBT law being changed and new riders needing sub 33 bhp bikes ... If it could be sourced for £150 a new tank and caliper found , ( I have seen them for sale ) There's not much to 'em . Done up it's £750ish . maybe even more ..mmmm

The EZ model was my very first new bike in Oct 1982. Over time mine changed from the boring silver to a nice jet back with that reddish orange logo left on and a gold frame, a couple of years after it went two tone blue fogging over gold pinstripes as and it finally stayed like that. I remember it having shite antidive front forks. The rear brake ‘ovalled’ up and had to have it machined down. Good comfy seat and not a bad bike.

I dispatched a 250 ET for a few years ..my missus had one at the same time , which was obviously my back up if needed, I eventually found the tank and panels for the EZ and changed hers to a Kat , mine gained various uppppp grades ..hand guards made from oil containers, c70 leg shields , screen from c70..2 stroke bottle as a chain oiler and a GSX 550 seat modified to allow panniers to fitted to it with top box attatched...swap seats and hey presto no .onger commercial .
That said it ran and ran so did Smands .. Proper machines .. I am tempted ..but really don't need another bike or project..
